Do you like painting ?

What is 'ARTS'??
by using my Art brushes taking Real environment using leisure Time until Sastify for the final artwork.

Since I was small, I followed my cousins to attend art class...
But at primary school I lost interest about it.
Suddenly, as I eager to take Art subject for SPM,
I started back learning arts when studying in secondary school.

I unsuspectedly won the 2nd place at my first participation in competition...
That was the moment I had great interest towards it.
Then, my interest gradually let me became enthusiastic towards arts...
My first successful painting was this:

An iguana which I guided by Mr Low and spend more than one month to complete it.

Then SPM examination question... that is the beautiful

At last, many years of my efforts worth it. My SPM Arts got A1!!
Thanks for Mr Low and my family members for supporting me until I finally produced many artwork of my own...!

JPP in KMK

During the first orientation week, my senior told me that there would be an activity to choose student representatives, as called Jawatankuasa Pewakilan Pelajar(JPP)...
So, when the registration was opened, my friends and I entered and some of us were successfully given a chance to participate in audition.

We did our own original poster and were given 200 pieces of photocopied poster to be hanged around our college.
My original poster was like this:

Believe in me !
Future is in our hands!!!

Here I am , Alvin Lee
Pls vote for F05... give me five!

My poster was in yellow in colour, when photocopied.
Then, our job were to hanged our poster all around the college.
There were lots of poster along the corridor and notice board.

Here was the situation.

One of the my challenger, Prof. Ng Beng Chet (F06)
We hanged our poster together at night, cooler weather..Haha!

Wei Ken, my classmate helped me a lots. He climbed up and down to place our poster as high as possible, so that not easily be teared off..
He was also one of the participater, Fo9

The most important night, when we had to give our own speech to draw attention from the voters...
Other candidates were very stable and gave out their speech fluently, made me felt nervous, but finally I successfully gave my talk ....

Lastly, we had an audition day where all student went to vote for all the candidates among us.
I was very excited when I were informed that I won a place in JPP... All my efforts on it were not wasted....

....Thanks for
all the voters as well as my friends who helped my a lots....

New Life in KMK

The orientation week was quite helpful to settle down our mind, as this was first time for most of us staying 'far away' from hometown (although its beside my state).

They briefly gave us some information on how's the life in matriculation, our co-cu activities as well as different teaching styles that we haven experienced in secondary school.

The special thing was the session with mentor.
We were divided into groups of 13 and were taken cared by our caring lecturer, Pn. Norashikin
She guided us how to manage our time and be independent, get prepared for the lectures and tutorials, get along with our lecturers...... I learned a lot from that. Thanks!

But.......
We felt that the orientation week is:

Too rush

-We had to wake up at about 5a.m. coz we had to take turns to bath. We also needed to attend moral class at 6a.m.
-Our programme was until 11 p.m. and we need to wash our clothes (as it is the first time, it took a longer time). Some of our friends even washed their clothes at midnight!!

Too tired

-We have only 5 hours or less to sleep. So some of us terslept during the programme.

Not so suitable food

-Our food is mostly economic rice. We hardly found vegetables there, but all kinds of meat was available with different cooking style.... (Luckily now there are more choices of food.)

Luckily, although some of us had homesickness, but as we gathered together, talked about our roommates' stories and grouped almost every night at cafeteria...... we managed to handle it.

So, All we can comment is orientation week was rushing and tiring... if you dont believe, ask the others in KMK. Is it right, friends in KMK?

First Day in KMK

This is my first time, to leave my sweet home..
The night before, I was thinking of that place. Where is KMK? How is the place could be? Is it in the jungle?... Lots of imagination flowed through my thought.
...at last, I decided to get enough sleep... Zz..zz..!

After 2 hours journey, I reached a small town, Changlun where KMK located at.
Hoo...! The traffic was jammed and we could only move slowly, especially at the traffic light.
All vehicles from different states could be seen, Kedah, Selangor,Kelantan....
We waited and waited... finally saw a large orange building.
That's it, my new school.

My family and I felt surprise because there are lots of students lining up to register.
As I lined up and wait for my turn, I felt some nervousness. Looking at those strange faces, and the strict looking lecturers, I was unable to consult myself to cope with the environment.
On that moment, I was alone, and the only person I know is Kwek.
People were crowded everywhere, in the library, the hostel, cafeteria....
It's really hard to find him....! So, I stayed with my parents... Hehe.

After registering myself, I went to my room, A2-01-37.
I met Dzariff(Selangor), Aizat(Terengganu) and Fadzrul(Perak), my roommates.
They welcomed me with open hands and soon we got along with each others easily.
After having lunch, my parents had to go back. Although they were very heavy-hearted to leave me at first time, we had to do so, in order to further my studies.

In the afternoon, I met my primary school's friend, Zhao Xuan as well as new friends from SMJK Jit Sin and other schools. Luckily, I could easily communicate well with them.

At that night, after a restless day, We felt exhausted. This was my first time staying alone with friends sleeping in a new hostel. Anyway, I phoned home to chat with my parents and felt asleep easily....... because there would be orientation week on the coming days....

The Announcement of Matriculation Intake

The results for matriculation intake was announced...
but, the moe website is busy, flooded until I cant access it..

My heart was popping up and down...
Butterflies in stomach... Ouch!
I was very nervous... after got rejected by many many scholarships...
......
Firstly, I went to Petronas Educamp... quite challenging but ...
failed to obtain sponsorship.
Then, I checked my application for Khazanah ...
The result is : Regret, unsuccessful
As for Uniten scholarship... dint get.. Haiz..!
JPA scholarships... They said that the results was coming out at 3.00p.m. , then postponed to 5.00p.m. , still not come out yet , and finally I got into the website through 'shorcut' and checked...
Harap maaf, anda tidak berjaya.
......
So, matriculation was my last hope... beside Form 6.

I cant wait any more...!!
I phone my friend and they told me to check via sms.
I send my IC and what i got is...
Harap maaf ... ... ...
Oh! My parents and I stunned for a few second...
... ... ...
I totally failed......!!

With an unhappy or emotionless face, I was asked to check my status online.
Suddenly, the status stated: Tahniah, anda telah berjaya ditawarkan......
??Hei, what happened actually??

I triple checked it and the result was same, successful!
I was delighted and my parents relieved too....

Thats what happened in that day,
when I successfully accepted by Kedah Maticulation College, Changlun...
